This was an interesting song. I had started writing it at least 10 years before showing it to Sylvie one night when we were trying to write a song. It was a lovely summer night on my parents back porch under the cherry tree. I had a first verse and a chorus but could never get any further even though I would try occasionally. She almost immediately figured out the fix and within a few hours it was finished. I believe that was the first time such an old song idea of mine has ever been finished! I’ve got lots more Sylvie!
